A New Beginning

We just moved and I have had little time to write. I have blogged for one year and so for the next month, I’m posting all my blog posts from this first year. I posted “Fairy Dust” yesterday. Today, “A New Beginning” which speaks of my salvation, my Savior and His great Grace and Truth towards me. Jesus, who cupped me in His hands, and offered me the gift of repentance and His salvation to me in place of my destruction.

It all began, for me, pointing away from Him, in a tight spot, an ugly cramped spot- where death seemed better, but hell already breathed it’s condemnation on me moment by moment. My friends included, but were not limited to:

Fear.

Rejection.

Loneliness.

Pity.

Confusion.

Insanity.

Selfishness.

Rage.

It’s the story about when I first met Him… unworthy, desperate knee bent at the foot of a worthy King saying, “Yes, Lord, Yes! I see my way is wrong and riddled with death.  I do, I do, I take Your life in exchange for mine.”
